Time: 2:30pm - 3:30pm
Movement is an important part of looking after our bodies, supporting physical health, mental wellbeing, independence and quality of life. However, finding time and opportunities to move can be challenging, especially when balancing work, family and friends, health routines, appointments and other everyday commitments.
This session explores why movement matters for adults with spina bifida and how it can be incorporated into daily life in realistic ways. Whether you walk independently, use mobility aids or use a wheelchair, there are many ways to build movement into your routine and benefit from being more active.
The session will provide practical tips, ideas and strategies to help you move more in ways that work for you. We will also be launching a range of new video and written resources designed specifically for members, offering guidance, inspiration and accessible activity options for people with different mobility needs.
Join Shine’s Specialist Physiotherapists to discover how every movement counts and how small, sustainable changes can support your health and wellbeing.
