Come and join us to mark Spina Bifida Awareness Week with a Shine Social event. We'll be exploring the Frida Kahlo: The Making of an Icon exhibition at Tate Modern, proceeded by a chance to meet other members over coffee beforehand.  

Frida Kahlo: The Making of an Icon is a powerful exhibition exploring the life, identity and legacy of one of the most influential artists of all time. Featuring iconic artworks alongside photographs, personal items and works by artists she inspired, it offers a rich and engaging experience.

We’ll start the morning with a friendly meet-up at The Corner Café at Tate Modern at 10:30am, giving everyone time to grab a drink, have a chat and get to know each other.

Then we will make our way together into the gallery for the exhibition entrance time of 12:00pm.

Tate Modern is fully step-free and accessible, with lifts and accessible facilities throughout the building.  

Accessible Station

The closest accessible station is Blackfriars, which offers step-free access and is a short distance from the venue.
