Bladder and bowel health is an essential part of children’s long-term health and contributes to their comfort, confidence and overall wellbeing. Having good routines in place ensures dignity, comfort and participation in everyday life.

The session will be relaxed and provide a space to ask questions without stigma, fear or embarrassment.

This session will offer practical, reassuring information for families, including:

  • Why regular bladder and bowel care matters for children with Spina bifida
  • What healthy bladder and bowel routines can look like
  • When and how to seek specialist advice
  • How Shine can support children and families

The session will include a Q&A to provide an opportunity to talk openly about continence health and the difference good support can make.
